Caligari Award for the best film of the FORUM section at the Berlinale 2018 and Special Mention of the Jury at Annecy 2018, The lobo house by Cristóbal León and Joaquín Cociña is an ever-changing animated feature film, a step-by-step experimental film that recalls Švankmajer and Quay brothers, surreal, dreamlike, meticulously chaotic. An immersion in Chilean history, amid the horrors of the dictatorship, in that terrible black hole that was the Chile of Augusto Pinochet.
Intentionally imprecise, dirty animation, in perennial unstable and creative movement.
