The evening of 22 August opens with a group that invented its own genre to avoid having one. LOSTATOBRADO is “post-agricultural experimental electronics”: a powerful and imaginative amalgam moving between electronics, experimentation and songwriting, shot through with cinematic suggestions and sampling.
On the stage of the Monastero di San Benedetto, the contemporary made sound. A set that opens for AKA5HA — and already belongs entirely to the night.
The Band
LOSTATOBRADO
LOSTATOBRADO are everyone and, at the same time, no one. They are a choral song, the sounds of the world and absolute silence. Born in 2023 from electroacoustic improvisation and the restlessness of three sound designers and film composers — Alessio Vanni, Lorenzo Valdesalici and Lorenzo Marra — the Bologna collective released their debut album Canzoni contro la ragione in 2024, named July’s record of the month by Rumore and enthusiastically received by Italy’s leading music press.
That same year they received the special Rockit prize at the Musica da Bere competition, won the Blender contest organised by Locomotiv Bologna, and took home the “MITA” award at Florence’s historic Rock Contest.
In December 2025, Ahimè was released on Locomotiv Records with the support of Ramaglie, a self-production collective: a surprising amalgam in which the traditional song form pushes beyond itself, embracing something new, uncharted and free.
In 2026, the band was chosen by C.S.I. to rearrange their songs and perform alongside them in Mongolia at the Playtime Festival in Ulan Bator and at the Auditorium of the Italian Cultural Institute in Beijing — before opening all the dates of their Italian tour.
