The music video for Uomini contro Insetti, directed by Galattico, blends different techniques to create a journey that complements the images evoked by the song’s lyrics, with a dreamlike feel where each figure transforms into the next, constantly shifting shape, color, and style. Director Filippo Rossi’s decision to involve three artists—Lorenzo Mercant, Simone Brillarelli, and Dario Imbrogno—for the stop-motion sections, each with a distinct style and distinctive signature, and seamlessly stitching the scenes together, creates a disorienting effect where the words come to life in time with the song, leading the viewer through mirrors, planes, and dreamy beaches, only to disappear again at the end, submerged by the same insects that have shaped the story from the beginning.
