A man goes to work and sees a boat for sale. He dreams of leaving his life behind. He leaves, and the dream gives way to memory, the mistral forces him to a makeshift landing. A woman, another story, a new beginning? As in an Escher drawing, everything starts again where it seemed to have ended.

DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
Nico Bonomolo was born in Palermo in 1974. Since 2008, in addition to painting and drawing, he dedicated himself to auteur animation cinema, making as self-taught the short film Lorenzo Vacirca, which debuted winning the New Italian Cinema Events Award at the “55th Taormina Film Festival”.
With his subsequent short films he has participated in many of the main international festivals, obtaining numerous awards, among which, a Special Mention at the Nastri d’Argento, the Gryphon Award for the best animated short film at the Giffoni, a David di Donatello nomination, a nomination for a (italian) Golden Globe and the Bruce Corwin Award at the Santa Barbara Festival which made him compete for an Oscar nomination.
