Michelle Brand is an animation director based in Berlin, who enjoys visualising abstract ideas in abstract ways across a wide range of aesthetics. With a special focus on discussing concepts around time, movement and change within her moving images, she keeps blurring the lines between theory and practice. Together with Toby Auberg, she co-founded the 2Dx3D animation studio KINEMUS in Berlin, exploring hybrid and expanded animation.
