Dead weight

Three men, on their way in a descending balloon over icy sea, need to get rid of some weight. After a vote, the two men throw the third man out of the basket, intent on saving their lives.

Øyvind Tangseth

Øyvind Tangseth has his education in animation from Volda University College and has had a long career in the Norwegian Animation Business. He has been working at several different norwegian studios; Filmkameratene, Storm Studio, Qvisten, Bug, Creacon and NRK amongst others. He has had many different roles; he has worked with 3D animation, stop motion, lay-out, design and as animation supervisor in tv-series for children. Since 2013 he has mainly been working as a 2D animator, animation designer and director in Råsalt Studio, a studio co-funded with Trine Vallevik Håbjørg. The last film he directed “The captain, the pilot and the singer” (2014) was shown at multiple festivals around the world.
