Turduck-in

Sydney Christensen

Sydney Christensen is an animator and a recent graduate from Ringling College of Art and Design, where she completed her degree in Computer Animation. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, she relocated to Florida to attend the nation’s top 3D animation program. Sydney’s passion for animation ignited in high school when she created her first solo animated film, earning a nomination at the Teen Animation Festival International. After that, she knew there was no other career for her- this was her true calling! “Turduck-in” is her senior thesis film and is the culmination of over a year and a half of hard work and late nights. Choosing to work by herself, the project stands as a testament to her mastery of all aspects of the CG animation pipeline, and her work both in and out of the classroom earned her an Honorable Mention for the Women In Animation Scholarship 2024. Sydney’s intention has always been to make this world a little brighter and give others a space to laugh when seeing her work. She loves what she does and can’t wait to see where the future takes her!
