“A young boy, clad in a dunce cap and lion’s paw gloves, embarks on a quest across a fiery desert, carrying a heavy burden. Compelled by an imperative inner voice, he faces hardships, turning his duty into a tool to get through the pitfalls.

Jean Vergé

Jean Vergé has been a director and animator since 2009, with a background in animation and a strong passion for the visual arts. In 2014, he founded Pegbar Animation, a production company focused on innovative and original projects, known for award-winning short films, children’s TV series, and interactive digital content. His highlights include the short films “Pader” (2023-2024) and “Le tueur de temps” (2020-2021), which won several awards at international festivals. He has collaborated with Mediawan Kids & Family and ON Entertainment as an animation supervisor and contact. Since 2021, he has taught 2D animation at the Institut Anaten Tarbes, training new generations of animators.
