In a cottage lost in the mountains, a strange couple: an old lady and an android. While the world collapses around them, the android tells their story.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
Vladimir Mavounia-Kouka writes and directs films, commissions and animated fictions. A graduate of the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris, he directed his first short film there: “À feu”, which won the prize for best animated film at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in 2006. Since then, he has pursued his career as an author-director of animated films and produces short films, clips, advertisements and content for different audiovisual media by experimenting with different animation techniques and graphic writing. His short films: “La femme à Cordes”, “La Bête”, “I want Pluto to be a planet again” and his music videos for Odezenne and Rone have been selected and awarded at many festivals around the world. For several years, he has been developing his first animated feature film: “Happy End”, written by Marie Amachoukeli and which they co-direct together, within Miyu Productions. He is also working on writing his first live-action feature film: “Bad Teeth”.
