“I’m Giulia Iaquinandi, a freelance background artist and animator with two years of experience in the animation sector.
Art has always been at the center of my life, after studying at art high school, I continued with a three-year course in animation at TheSign Comics & Art Academy in Florence, and then concluded with a Master’s degree in Illustration and Concept Art.
Parallel to the last two years of studies, I immediately entered the world of work in animation, I collaborated as a background artist and clean up artist for large productions still in development, among which the notable ones are: “This World Won’t Make Me Bad” Netflix animated series by Zerocalcare and “Merry Little Batman” by Warner Bros and DC Studios.
I’m always looking for the new and I like to test myself, which is why, with the trust of Ubaldo and Samuele, I accepted the role of Director for the animated short “Eclipse”.
At the moment I work both as a director for small new projects and as a clean up artist with a large production behind it.”
